Cargo insurance covers goods while they move by sea, air or road, including loading, unloading and storage in the ordinary course of transit.
- Open cover for regular importers, with shipments declared as they occur
- Single-transit policies for one-off consignments and project equipment
- Clause A, B or C wordings, ranging from all risks down to named perils
- General average and salvage charges, with war and strikes by separate clause
Cover normally runs warehouse to warehouse and ends a fixed number of days after discharge. Insufficient packing, delay and inherent vice are excluded.
How it works
From enquiry to cover
1
We map the risk
A short conversation about what you do and what you own, so the cover matches reality.
2
We go to the market
We compare wording and limits across insurers, not the premium alone.
3
You choose, we place
We explain the differences in plain terms, then place the policy you pick.
4
We run the claim
If something happens, the file is ours to follow through to settlement.
